The Christian Education Department of Steadfast Baptist Church — Detroit stands at the heart of our spiritual formation. Bold, faithful, and uncompromising in its commitment to biblical truth, this department is the engine-room where learning, training, and discipleship are planned, coordinated, and delivered. Though often “behind the scenes,” its influence shapes nearly every facet of our church life: from small-group curriculum and teacher development to large-scale initiatives like the L.I.F.E. Institute, our active participation in the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, and collaboration with the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist District.

What we do

• Design and deliver Christian education for every age and stage: Sunday school, youth ministries, adult Bible classes, and senior discipleship.

• Develop leaders and teachers through regular training, certification, and mentoring so that every classroom is led with sound doctrine and pastoral care.

• Coordinate special programs, workshops, and conferences — including L.I.F.E. Institute sessions — that equip members in theology, ministry skills, leadership, and practical Christian living.

• Represent Steadfast Baptist Church in broader networks like the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist District, bringing resources, partnerships, and best practices back to our congregation.

• Create learning pathways that connect knowledge to practice: Bible study that strengthens faith, training that produces ministry-ready servants, and seminars that help members engage culture redemptively.
